As we transition into the holiday season one thing is certain: there will be parties! I love getting dressed up in a festive frock (just to be clear, I am not rocking Christmas sweaters!) and then heading over to friends and families homes for a celebration.
Of course the host and/or hostess go(es) to a lot of trouble to put together the perfect shindig and for that I believe it is nice (and good etiquette!) to bring along a gift. While wine, flowers and candles are perfectly acceptable gifts; sometimes (assuming I know the host’s tastes) it is fun to pick out something a bit more creative.
