New York’s Latest Landmark

Have I seemed distant lately?  I am sorry, but there is an explanation!  Here is my latest confession:  I have spent the last few days in New York!!  It has been a great trip, saw my parents, hung out with old friends and ate some amazing meals (I seriously need to hit up the gym the moment my flight lands in LA!).  However, this trip wasn’t without purpose.  I was actually in town for the big opening of “The Setai Fifth Avenue, A Capella Managed Hotel.”  Okay, so it’s a mouthful.  BUT (like its sister property in Cabo San Lucas) this hotel is seriously amazing.  Located on 5th Avenue between 36th and 37thStreets (steps from Empire State Building), the property is both modern and elegant in its design.  Characterized by dark woods and gorgeous marbles, many of these elements were flown in from Italy.  Of course the service is without equal and the spa and bar are the crème de la crème.  The truly is a new landmark along the New York skyline.

I was able to snap a few images of the lobby/ bar area to give you a taste of the environment.  However, if you are in the area you should absolutely check it out for your self.  Grab a seat in “The Bar on 5th” for not only a cool environment, but also for some great drinks and tasty snacks!

Enjoy the sneak peek…
