Celebrating Michael Kors’ 30th

Michael Kors’ 30th anniversary collection was long, lean and beautiful.  But would you expect anything less?  Kors is a quintessential American designer and this Fall 2011 Ready-To-Wear Collection is a great reminder for why that’s the case.  From casual to evening, his looks are sleek and modern.

With so many lovely pieces it was hard to narrow it down to a select few, but I did my best.  Let me know what you think!

So these looks may not be your typical fall fare, but if you live in a warmer climate, a maxi dress is just what you want come September/October.  And with these dresses, what’s not to love?  I love that there is a dress for everyone in this grouping.

Sexy and Powerful?  Yep, Kors can do that too.  I like that the skin shown here is unexpected.  A simple white blouse and black skirt becomes something totally different.  A suit is off set with sequins and a plunging neckline.  Both looks are just so well executed.

The days of Studio 54 may be long gone, but these disco influenced looks are going strong.  The draping on these looks are spot on.  That in conjunction with the solid palette produced the long lean line every girl wants.  Frankly, I can’t decide which I love best!
