Blue Jean Baby

Remember that cowboy wedding I mentioned a couple weeks ago (here)?  Well it is coming up fast!  (Katie, if you are reading this: breathe.  Weddings do not need to be insanely stressful, that is a total lie.  So relax!)  And as Lukus figures out what top to wear with his perfectly starched jeans (something genuinely cowboy- no city slickers here), I find myself thinking a lot about denim.

I love wearing jeans.  They can be dressed up or down, but either way they are inherently cool.  But, they aren’t the only option for denim.  Denim is actually one of those incredibly versatile fabrics.  In fact, there are several other ways to wear this classic fabric that are completely chic and on trend without covering up your legs.  Perfect for spring time!

And these are some of my favorites:

Where to buy:

  1. awesome!!! so now i would be totally appropriate when i pull out my jean jacket!!! excited!!!! 😉

  2. I love a man in starched jeans…just sayin.

  3. I love denim so much! I am however, not a fan of people who refuse to update their denim and insist on wearing their jean jacket from 1991, of course paired with jeans from the same era. *shudder* Love the idea of cowboy wedding!

  4. Especially love the dresses and flats (such a cute pic of them with their toes & heels all turned up :-)
I live in jeans – when I’m not living in p.j.’s

  5. Glad denim is coming back. I’m looking at denim for decor too!

  6. LOVE the purse! A must have!!!

  7. I love those little flats!

I am stopping by from the I ♥ Blogging hop, thank you for joining our hop!

  8. I remember wearing quite a bit of denim as a kid. And, I’m not just talkin’ jeans. So, I’m excited for a resurgence!

I LOVE both dresses! Reminds me, I need to go shopping… :)

Thanks for sharing, and I look forward to reading more! Newly following through the Fab Friends Thursday Blog Hop!
