A Western Wedding

For the last few weeks I have been talking about the upcoming cowboy nuptials of my friend Katie and her man Burl… well they happened!!!  I have some great photos from the event (thanks in part to the lovely Jessica Wenger and my husband Lukus) and I am so excited to share them with you.  There are several, so sit back, turn on your favorite country tune and enjoy!

Lukus and our friend Jay embraced the dress code. Stogies included.

The wedding was held at an old 1800’s town in northern Phoenix.

Here is the beautiful country church were the nuptials were held.

There was rain…. Thank goodness for cowboy boots!

Even the bride wore a pair!!!

The reception was in this old-west opera house.

The cake topper was so sweet- a cowboy couple rides off into the sunset.

The happy couples first dance… awwww….

Jay and Jessica get into the spirit of things. Note the bolo tie!

Lukus and I smile for the camera- I am ready for him to shave off the facial hair.

Cowboy hats come in all sizes and colors.

The bride is an expert two-stepper! Thankfully her dance partner was one of the wedding guests!

The wedding was a blast, but now it is time to get back to the city…. Hope you enjoyed the photo-montage!!!!
