Chloé’s Comeback

A few months back I took a look at the Chloé 2012 Resort Collection.  At the time the label was between head designers and as a result looked to Chloé’s heritage in creating the resort collection.  All that is a thing of the past,  now that Clare Waight Keller has debuted her inaugural collection.

The Chloé 2012 Spring/Summer Collection strikes a lovely balance between femininity and strength.  The relaxed design of all the waistlines keep the designs from looking to prim,  while the colors keep things fresh and sophisticated.  And if you are a fan of neutrals I love how the white,  beige and cream play off one another.    One the consistent with the previous collection— both are completely cool.

What do you think of Clare Waight Keller’s first foray?  Pieces you love?  Hate?

(My favorite is the last look!)

  1. I realize these are supposed to look cool and relaxed, but those top two looks come way too close to resembling pajamas for my liking!

I really like the collection. My favorite is the third look!

  3. She is so tall. I am very short, I don’t know if I could pull it off. I like the last one.

  4. I love the second look, love the relaxed look of the pants with the fitted crisp white shirt. I also love the floral shirt in the 5th pic. I agree the white, beige and tan look good together. She did a good job.

  5. I love the neutral colour scheme and that the pieces seem very relaxed and effortless. The last look is my favorte too!

  6. They’re all very pretty! I think I would wear any of them.

  8. My favorite look is #1 and #6 , but I do love the blouse in #5. I do like all of them.

  9. They’re all beautiful – though I do like the last one *and* the red dress!
