To my lovely readers— I am currently in Honduras (see more HERE ). I will still be posting, but I have invited some friends to guest post for me as well. Today’s post comes from fellow shoe fanatic Trianna of That’s Too Cute. Trianna is constantly making me drool over her shoe finds, and I am sure her festive footwear picks will do the same for you!
Thank you to Alexis for having me on North on Harper! She’s so awesome. I must admit, I’m a little bit jelly that she’s getting to go away and I’m stuck in the cold. Le sigh.
The colder it gets, the closer the Holidays are at hand. As far as gift shopping goes, I haven’t done any and I seriously doubt that I will be doing any shopping until the week before Christmas.
However, outfit and shoe shopping are a different story. I have already been searching for and pricing my outfits for all those upcoming Holiday parties and dinners. If you don’t know me, then you can ask anyone who does…I start from the shoes up. Of course, being that it is the Holiday Season, one might automatically think of glitter and shine. All that glitters does NOT have to be gold. Nine West’s Cress does a fabulous job of bringing together an assortment of colors in a non-overbearing way. Though I wouldn’t recommend these for Thanksgiving dinner, I could definitely see them for a Holiday party or New Year’s Eve. For under $100, these are a definite must have!
Too much? For those of us a little more conservative, or who have really stuck up bosses who try to hate on our fabulosity, try these Badgley Mischka peep toes. The Stella Lace Pumps come in a Natural/ Black color combo that is classic yet sexy. These also come in a Royal Blue color that I happen to love. A Little Black Dress or even better a Little Nude Dress would look gorgeous with these! I found these for $225 on Endless.
Following with the studs and spikes of the past year or so, Sam Edelman’s Lorissa pumps are a great choice for the edgy girl. I like to call them a “shoe mullet”. Business in the front and party in the back! These beauties guarantee that you get looked at coming in and stared at going out. I found these on sale at Endless for about $135.
I’m thinking for me, the Lorissa’s. I’ve had my eye on them for a while and can totally see myself wearing them with everything. Which would you pick? Or do you have some other options? Let us know!
