It happened. Despite my best efforts to prevent it, my vacation has come to an end. This afternoon I will be hoping on a plane back to Los Angeles.
This trip has been so much fun- super easy and just perfect for celebrating Lukus’ birthday. As I looked back at some of the photos I took this week, it has come to my attention, that there are something that still need to be shared… the caveat is, this need a little more explanation.
Here we go:
For the birthday celebration (in addition to Lukus, we also celebrated my dad’s and one of my sisters’ birthdays) my sister prepared a traditional German mulled wine that is topped with an alcohol-soaked block of sugar, which is set on fire. It is called Feuerzangenbowle.
