Sweater Girl

Today is the sweater girl herself, Lana Turner’s birthday!

This gorgeous actress may have worked on countless film including, The Postman Always Rings Twice and Peyton Place.  But it was in her very first film They Won’t Forget, that a stroll down the street that gave her the “sweater girl” nickname.

In honor of this glamorous femme fatale, I thought it would be fun to share some early spring/late winter sweater picks— bra not included!

Where To Shop:
ASOS “Dip Dye Sweater” ($75.20)
Rebecca Taylor “Pointelle Sweater” ($350)
Ella Moss “Jac Sweater” ($178)

Comments

  1. I don’t wear sweaters often but I like them… I just don’t look great in most of them…

  2. Oh, well, of course – I love the $350 sweater… Hate it when that happens!

  3. Love love looove the purple one. Its great for the winter-spring transition. BTW, where IS Spring?!

  4. Yes! But mostly of the cardigan variety. It comes and goes in trend, but it’s a classic that works for me (my ex used to say i had a faulty heating system).
