Well, it has come to a close. Another New York Fashion Week has wound down. But I couldn’t let it go without sharing one more show with you. And I thought, what better way to end the madness with the impactful Calvin Klein S/S 2013 Collection.
Francisco Costa thrilled with a stunning collection that was unarguably alluring, but with out feeling explicit. And while the palette was a simple (black, whites and creams), the fabrics were interesting, especially the use of layering. I really loved both the sheer moments as well as the web-like layer introduced in some of the pieces.
True to both the Calvin Klein name and Francisco Costa’s tenure at the iconic label, pieces felt simple and not overworked, despite the clear detailed thought that went into them. The statement was strong and a fantastic way to end the New York season.

It was definitely a beautiful collection from a distance and I like all the images you chose except the last one, I just thought all the pieces that had weird busts would be really hard to wear–but love the black and neutrals. Hope you have a great weekend!

This collection stays close to what I always expect from Calvin Klein clean lines and modern style. There are quite a few pieces I would like to have in my closet.

Absolutely love this collection. My favorite in all. I like the detailing and layering, as well. Classic pieces with a slight edge. Great for any wardrobe.
This was a polished collection. The white suit is my favourite, very simple and sophisticated look.
I always appreciate Calvin Klein’s collections… very elegant this one is… and great way to round off NYFW.
