Chic Fall Coats

It may be a little premature for coats in some places, but living here in Chicago I am definitely in that mental space.  And who could blame me?  When I lived in Los Angeles I rarely had an opportunity to wear a coat—let alone during the fall!  So I thought I would create a collection with some great coats for you to ogle.  Best part?  These are all chic fall coats for under $100!

Coats are great layering elements and can add so much personality to an outfit.  Confession:  historically I go for black coats, because they always seemed the most versatile.  And, because I only really wore coats 2 weeks a year (yes, that’s LA!), I wanted to make sure to get the most out of a coat.  But now that I am in a climate that requires more coat wears (even in the fall!), I wanted to add some interest to these finds.  So, not only did I track down chic fall coats for under $100, but not a single one is basic black!  Impressive?  I think so.

I won’t keep you in suspense any longer.  Here are my finds:

Chic Fall Coats:
C.Luce “Zip Coat” $99
Jack By Bb Dakota “Marty Hooded Jacket” $99
Tinley Road “Nutcracker Coat” $98
Tinley Road “City Side Zip Coat” $79
Bb Dakota “Cheyenne Coat” $99.50

What do you think of these Chic Fall Coats?

  1. I love them all! I don’t even think I could pick which is my fave. And each seems pretty versatile.

I’m so jealous of you. I know you are having a fashionista’s feast with all the fun things you can wear in Chicago that you couldn’t in LA. I know you’re dressing super cute:) I’d love to see a pic of your fall coat:)

  2. Love them!

  3. Great selections! I probably buy more jackets and coats than accessories … well maybe! I love the bolder colour or textured styles this season, especially with unique trim accents like belts, etc. The Tinley Road style in green is my favourite! Hope you enjoyed your weekend.

  4. Love coats especially the green one and the patterned one. And what great prices, But as you know in Norcal we get limited wear from them, so I will have stop myself from buying more but at these prices it’s tempting. My Mackage camel one may have some competition!…Funnily enough it has the same collar as the beige one

  5. Really cute picks Alexis, I can definitely see you wearing the Tinley Road coats. For someone who lives in a place where there’s never an occasion to wear coats, I have way too many–but they are one of my favorite things to buy!

  6. Oooo, I just love the green one! It’s definitely coat season around here. I feel the need to update my winter outerwear wardrobe a bit this year.

  7. I love drooling over coats, and you definitely picked out some adorable ones =)

  8. Honestly, I can’t pick one….I want & love them all <3

  9. Alexis, I am FREEZING! I miss the gentle fall/winter immediately of California. It’s rainy and I am unprepared. MY gorgeous wool coats don’t work well here on the wet days- yesterday my vintage faux fur got soaked! I now understand the prevelance of fleece here in the Emerald City but I refuse to go there. Your list of coats make me yearn for a proper warm and water resistant coat!

  10. Coats have always played a big part in my wardrobe. The funny thing is I still don’t own the perfect black coat. It’s a coat you rather invest in than buy. Love the white one! Minimalist always works for me.

  11. Wow, I am LOVING that emerald green Tinley Road coat, it is absolutely divine!! I can’t believe these are all under $100, that’s insane.

Great post, thanks for the heads up on these bargains!
